Early Voting for Water Districts ends Tuesday (May 6)

Three water districts in Victoria county are conducting elections for their board of directors. Early voting in person is happening this week and the first two days of next week at the offices for each district. Election Day is Saturday, May 10th where polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm

Water Control & Improvement District No. 2 in Placedo has extended their office hours to allow early voting in person each day this week from 8 am to 5 pm.Their office is located at 93 Preston Street in Placedo. Next Monday, May 5th they will be open from 8 am to 5 pm and on Tuesday, May 6th, they will open at 7 am and close at 7 pm.

Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 in Bloomington is also open this week from 8 am to 5 pm. The office is located in Bloomington at 91 Illinois St. Next Monday they will open from 8 am to 5 pm and on Tuesday, May 6th, early voting in person will begin at 7 am and end at 7 pm.

Quail Creek Municipal Utility District is conducting early voting in person at their 515 Chukar location this week from 8 am to 5 pm, including next Monday and from 7 am to 7 pm on Tuesday, May 6th.

Registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the water districts and municipal utility district are eligible to vote in this election. If you have a question about your registered ion you should contact the Election Office at elections@vctx.org or 576-0124.
