Right now Republicans and Democrats need to unite and down play negative politics. Instead, unity is in order. The East Coast was devastated for no reason, other than nature.

As Americans, Americans first and Americans last, we need to act in a concerted and aggressive manner, to address the needs of our brothers and sisters. We are all Americans regardless of race, religion, politics, etc..

If we do not stand by our fellow Americans in their time of need, then we are not deserving to be called Americans.

We know who we are going to vote for by now, regardless. We now need, to put aside politics to live up to the ideals of what America stands for. Please, I beg those who would take this situation to exploit it, do not.

Let's show the world, that in times of need what it means and is too be an American. That we do not forsake our own. I was once taught, "we never leave a brother behind".

This is a time for those words to ring true in the hearts and minds of all Americans. There are Americans in need...what will you do?
