Carolina came to the Victoria Advocate after working in Saint Paul, Minn., where she worked as the Newsroom Coordinator for Minnesota Public Radio. She previously worked in Houston, Tx. for CultureMap, and in Columbia, Mo. for NPR member station KBIA-FM. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where she studied broadcast journalism and film studies. Her work has appeared on Studio 360, This American Life and BBC Americana.
