Arrested

VICTORIA - A 27-year-old Victoria man by officers Thursday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, tampering or fabricating with physical evidence and having a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.

VICTORIA - Joni Dial, 23, of Victoria, by deputies Thursday on a warrant charging her with violation of probation in a manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance case.

VICTORIA - An 18-year-old Port Lavaca woman by officers Thursday on suspicion of theft of property.

VICTORIA - A 19-year-old Port Lavaca woman by officers Thursday on suspicion of theft of property.

VICTORIA - A 26-year-old Victoria man by officers Friday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury to a family member; resisting arrest, search or transport; possession of marijuana and unlawful restraint.

Stolen

VICTORIA - In cash, $1,000 from a night club in the 3600 block of North Navarro Street on Wednesday.

VICTORIA - In cash, $749 from a car dealership in the 4500 block of North Navarro Street on Thursday.

Indicted

VICTORIA - A Victoria County grand jury recently indicted the following people.

Lanndon Floyd Smith, 28, of Victoria, on a charge of evading arrest/detention with a previous conviction. He is charged with fleeing from a peace officer Dec. 13.

Antonio Terrell Thomas, 31, of Houston, on a charge of criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with intentionally damaging or destroying one bullet-resistant plate glass window at a business in the 5200 block of North Navarro Street by hitting it with a sledgehammer Dec. 28.

Jimmy Trevino, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions. He is charged with stealing two necklaces valued together at less than $1,500 from a business in the 6100 block of North Navarro Street on Dec. 28.
