Victoria College freshman Domingo Sanchez took a sledgehammer to a Daewoo Nubira sedan Wednesday in front of the VC Student Center as fellow student Jay Thielen looked on.
Sanchez paid $1 for his vandalism efforts as part of the Bash Out Cancer fundraiser.
Other than the stress-relieving aspect of helping to demolish a car, Sanchez said he took part in the event because his grandmother had cancer.
For $1, VC students, faculty and staff could take one whack at the car and help raise money for the Relay for Life team.
The three-day Bash Out Cancer event raised $178.
