Practice your notes and brush up on reading music as the Victoria Bach Festival Chorus is hosting auditions for two performances slated in June.

Singers are encouraged to audition for performances in Beethoven's Missa Solemnis for a chance to work with Grammy-nominated conductor Craig Hella Johnson. He will conduct a full orchestra for two shows: June 8 at the VISD Fine Arts Center and June 9 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin.

Both shows are part of the 38th Annual Victoria Bach Festival.

Those interested in auditioning should be able to read music and have a choral background. All voices are welcome, but there is a specific need for tenors and basses.

The rehearsal conductor will be Duane Roth.
