• Name: Julie Allen
• Age: 55
• City of residence: Victoria
• Current title: Retail worker
• First job: When I was 14, I spent my Saturdays working at either a fish and chip shop or a small grocery store in Australia.
• What it taught me: I learned responsibility. At age 16, I woke up, dressed, rode the subway for an hour and worked from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I also paid my parents $25 a week for board once I got that first job. I learned to be financially responsible.
