Editor, the Advocate:

The 2012 Industrial Worker's Children's Christmas Party was a huge success. With your help, more than 150 kids were treated to a pizza and punch lunch and some fun-filled activities including a craft table, manicures for the girls, face painting and chic braids. Santa handed out gifts including toys, clothes and bikes selected for the children. We also had a surprise visit from the Pink Fire Engine. We thank our major sponsors: Gonzalez Restaurant, Gonzalez Industrial, Marie Hawes, of Port O'Connor; First Victoria National Bank, Angie Caballero, John Caballero, Ben Fuentes, Prospero and Janie Martinez, Cynthia Ramirez and every person who donated money and/or time to make this event a huge success.
