There are those who serve their country on the frontline; then there are those who serve their country on a different platform - the stage.
The 18-musician ensemble Dimensions in Blue, part of the U.S. Air Force Band of the West, will bring those jazzy sounds to the Victoria Fine Arts Center on Sunday.
The performance is free to the public.
Attendees will be treated to the old jazz sounds of performers such as Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington and some more contemporary jazz artists, according to a news release.
The band travels more than 125,000 miles across Texas, Louisiana, Arizona and New Mexico to perform for more than 1 million people each year.
Performing for presidents, heads of state and others around the world, the band has earned a strong reputation among military bands, according to the news release.
