Cuero Healthpoint will host a free education event, "Heart to Heart with a Cardiologist," at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, 302 N. Esplanade St., Cuero.

Dr. Steven Bailey, chief of the Division of Cardiology at UT Health Science Center San Antonio, will give a presentation on valvular heart disease.

Attendees will be entered to win one of two Gala IX raffle tickets worth a chance to win a $10,000 credit gift card. The raffle winner will be drawn at the Gala IX on April 27.
