A Bloomington man remained jailed Friday on charges of indecency with a child/sexual contact.

Joseph Roy, 27, was arrested in San Antonio on Jan. 25 and brought to the Victoria County Jail on Wednesday. He remains in custody in lieu of a $50,000 bond, said Lt. Jeff Meyer, of the sheriff's office.

A family member of the 13-year-old male victim reported the abuse in June 2012. A warrant was issued for Roy's arrest in August, Meyer said.
