West students compete in engineering competition

Caption: Nine students from Cheryl Clark's Engineering classes at West High School attended Texas A&M's FAME (Future A&M Engineers) design competition in College Station. West students were placed on teams with other students from all over Texas. They competed in a challenge to build a rubber band car from cardboard, duct tape, popscicle sticks, pencils and rubber bands. Zack McBrayer's team won the award for longest distance without weights.
