Elvis to perform at Kamin Furniture store in honor of Pearl Harbor

An Elvis sighting is planned for Saturday.

The King of Rock 'n' Roll, or rather an impersonator, will give a live performance from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Kamin Furniture, 5909 N.E. Zac Lentz Parkway, in Victoria.

Mr. M. Davis, as he is known on stage, has been on tour and will be flying into Victoria from New York on his way to Las Vegas.

Davis has known Buddy Kamin and Bentley Kamin for more than 15 years and has agreed to make a brief stop to sing some of Elvis' favorite Christmas songs.

The event will also honor the 72nd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Davis will take the time in his show to honor any Pearl Harbor survivor with the gift of a free recliner. Because of limited capacity, make your reservation by 6 p.m. Friday. Security will be tight so come early.

Davis will make random stops at some Victoria area businesses before the show begins at Kamin Furniture.
