Editor, the Advocate:
Die-hard Obama supporters remind me of penning a flock of sheep - Obama walks in front with a bucket of corn, occasionally tossing out a hand full to keep them following. Too late will they realize that they are in the pen - the gate is closed - and the corn is gone.
Since you praise him for his accomplishments, let me add a few - with our billions of tax dollars (yours too) he has invested in Solyndra - bankrupt, Ener1 - bankrupt, Beacon Power - bankrupt, Abound Solar - bankrupt, Amonix Solar - bankrupt, Spectra Watt - bankrupt, and Eastern Energy - bankrupt. You mention GM is alive - yes, with our bail-out money and a promise to Obama to develop an eco-friendly car. They delivered (probably on their lunch hour) the Chevy Volt, which costs more than $30,000 more to produce than they are selling them for. Brilliant move! Buy one!
Bin Laden is dead, thanks to intelligence gathered during the Bush administration and a super effort by a group of Navy Seals.
Obamacare has already sucked up millions of dollars from Social Security, and few people want it.
You ask, "Is his work done?" I sure hope so. We can't stand much more.
B.J. Bunch, Yoakum
