Sometimes the simple things in life are so meaningful. Each year, the West High School Volleyball team donates funds that they have raised to give to a local charity. This year, the girls selected Victoria Business and Education Coalition (VBEC).

As I visited with Coach Longoria, I realized that she is not only teaching her girls volleyball but true life lessons, and that is giving back to their community. I want to thank the team for this wonderful gift and their continued success at being 5-0 in the district. With this donation, we will be able to change more students' lives.
