DOROTHY H. O'CONNOR PET ADOPTION CENTER
The Dorothy O'Connor Pet Adoption Center is hosting the "Bark at the Moon" K9-5K on Saturday at the Riverside Park special events area.
The fourth annual 5K event, this will be the first to take place at night. Participants are encouraged to take part in the lighted costume contest (nothing electrical).
All canine participants must be current on vaccinations and remain on a leash at all times.
Registration is $30 starting at 5 p.m. The race begins at 8 p.m. Awards will be presented in each age category.
Concessions and live entertainment will be available before and after the race.

Meeting
Victoria Trap-Neuter-Return will meet at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the Community Room at Victoria Mall. Victoria TNR is a private volunteer nonprofit program dedicated to reducing the number of feral and free roaming cats living in colonies in the community. For more information call 361-550-5465.
