For Crossroads residents looking to hone in their leadership skills, inspiration is on its way.
Never Fly Solo: Leadership Built Through Partnership takes place at 7 p.m. Monday at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, 214 N. Main St., according to an event news release.
Hosted by the Committee to Elect Bret Baldwin, the event features retired United States Air Force Lt. Col. Robert "Waldo" Waldman. A New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling author, Waldman will discuss leadership techniques and the importance of working together for success.
Tickets are $27 presale and $40 at the door. Admission is free for military personnel and veterans with valid military or veteran identification cards who obtain their tickets on or before Friday.
Baldwin is an Independent candidate for U.S. Congress District 27.
