Rawhide Riders host St. Jude Benefit Trail Ride and Barbecue

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has announced the Saddle Up for St. Jude Trail Ride and Barbecue which begins at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Joe and Glenda Heinold's place, 3481 Weber Road.

Participants will gather at 12:30 p.m., and the ride begins at 1 p.m.

Cost is $10 per person, which includes a barbecue dinner served at 6 p.m. Children age 5 and under dine free.

Coggins papers are required for all horses, and no stallions will be allowed.

At St. Jude, scientists and physicians are working side by side seeking not only a better means of treatment, but also the causes, cures and prevention of leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, sickle-cell anemia, pediatric AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
