Anyone want to put his or her hard-earned money in a GRAND investment?

One where you cannot get a guarantee of return, funds will be distributed to others not paying into it, and if needed, the financial agency has the right to borrow from this investment whenever it cannot meet its other financial obligations? Sounds great, doesn't it?

We Americans have paid into the BIGGEST Ponzi scheme of all time - Social Security. Our beloved government promised a secure retirement with the Social Security Act (SSA), but has taken it from a secured investment to a general "slush" fund to be used at the whim of our financially irresponsible government.

To make matters worse, I recently read a news article stating taxpayers are willing to pay a tax increase to prevent reduction in benefits or an increase in retirement age. What taxpayers are these? Who are they, so I can slap them into reality? People who blindly follow like sheep to the slaughter really chap my hide. This is only going to temporarily fix Social Security! Look at their record of accomplishment. Our government is trying to scare us into believing that SSI is broke. This is not true! Our government has borrowed huge amounts of money to pay for other programs ever since these funds where shifted to a general funds account.

It is time to stop believing their lies, demand they (Congress) fix this mess, and return all the borrowed funds with interest. To ensure SSI will forever be there, place SSI back into a protected investment account as the SSA was intentionally designed and place ALL government retirement funds in the same account. There is not a Congressional member around who would dare jeopardize their retirement, which makes this the only option if SSI is going to survive future bilking from our government. The only other option is to find some high-powered attorneys who are not afraid or intimidated by our government and get a class-action suit against the inappropriate funneling of our hard-earned money out of our future. So WAKE UP AMERICA and hold our government accountable.
