Heather Vickery is the 2012-13 recipient of The Theresa Hartl Nursing Memorial Scholarship. She is the daughter of Keith and Kathy Vickery, of Olivia. The scholarship is being presented to Heather by Tara Hartl Winemiller, left, daughter of Theresa Hartl. The scholarship is given every year to a student that has been accepted into the Registered Nursing Program at Victoria College. The scholarship was created in memory of Theresa Hartl when she passed away due to a brain aneurysm in 2009. She was a nurse at Memorial Medical Center from the beginning of her nursing career to the time of her death.
