For the second time, Rogers Home Medical received the Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation.
The recognition goes to home medical equipment companies that demonstrate high-quality practices in their business operations and patient care techniques.
Rogers Home Medical earned the three-year accreditation after completing a comprehensive application that focused on patient care and a commitment to quality operational practices and procedures, according to a company news release.
Accreditation assures Medicare and other payers that the highest levels of quality are practiced within all areas of the company.
Wilson B. Rogers, with Rogers Home Medical, said the company sought the honor to demonstrate its drive to provide excellent patient care and safety.
"This award also reinforces that our commitment to quality is ongoing," he said.
Founded in 2005, the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation seeks to continuously set standards of the highest quality on behalf of the durable medical equipment industry and business owners. Its interactive, Web-based design is specifically aimed at the durable medical equipment industry, providing a targeted approach to accreditation and quality improvement.
"Our priority is to provide the best quality medical equipment available in a home setting in a timely, cost-effective manner with the highest level of service available," said Bruce Rogers, who founded Rogers Home Medical in 1995. "It's part of our mission statement that our priority is patient well-being. We are committed to meeting the needs of patients and enhancing the quality of their lives."
