Officers confiscated drugs, money and a vehicle and arrested a Victoria man Thursday when they served a warrant at a home in the 1100 block of East Polk Avenue.
Michael Casarez, 41, was charged with possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds in a drug-free zone and possession of a dangerous drug by the Victoria Police Department Special Crimes Unit and SWAT Team.
Detectives believe the arrest was gang-related.
Officers seized more than 10 ounces of marijuana, more than 40 prescription pills, a vehicle and $700 in cash at the residence at 6 a.m.
Casarez is being held in the Victoria County Jail.
The ongoing investigation stems from information gathered by narcotics detectives.
