The Victoria Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Lighted Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1. Bands and businesses, churches and cheerleaders, and service organizations are invited to showcase their holiday spirit.

The Lighted Christmas Parade will take place through the streets in downtown Victoria. There will be an estimated 20,000 people watching entries travel along Main and Bridge Streets during the two-hour parade.

Entries are not limited to Victorians. Every town is encouraged to participate.
