A Brookshire man rear-ended a Department of Public Safety vehicle about 7 p.m. Tuesday along U.S. Highway 59 in Jackson County.
Jackson County Sheriff Andy Louderback said DPS Trooper Aaron Frazier was working a one-vehicle rollover wreck on U.S. 59 about a half-mile north of a truck stop near Ganado, when Samuel Taylor drove a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro into the trooper's car.
Frazier's flashing lights were on while he was assisting with the first wreck, involving Jay Hahn, of Rosenberg, who was driving a 2005 Toyota. Louderback did not know the model of Hahn's vehicle.
"It was a slick road accident," he said.
No one was injured in either wreck. It is unknown whether citations were issued.
