Editor, the Advocate:
I've recently moved back to Victoria after living in Houston for many years. Traffic in Houston is, in general, a mess; lights are often poorly timed and inappropriately sequenced, and traffic can be chaotic. By contrast, traffic in Victoria moves relatively smoothly with our traffic signals generally well-timed and sequenced. So congratulations to those within the city of Victoria responsible for traffic engineering.
However, there is a signal at the intersection of Mockingbird and Loop 463 that I feel needs some attention. At this intersection, men grow old before their time; children are born, grow up and graduate from high school before the light changes.
C'mon guys; we can do better.
