GARBAGE SCHEDULE

Recycling that was scheduled to be collected on Thanksgiving Day will instead be picked up Saturday.

TEXAS ZOO

The zoo will be open Friday.

CITY AND COUNTY OFFICES

City hall, the Victoria City-County Health Department, Victoria County offices and the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission will be closed Friday. City, county and state emergency services will continue to operate. The Victoria Transit will be open Friday.

MUSEUMS

The Nave and McNamara museums will be open Friday. All other museums will be closed Friday.

LIBRARIES

The Victoria Public Library will be closed Friday. The Victoria College/University of Houston-Victoria Library will be closed through Saturday.

STATE OFFICES

Workforce Solutions-Golden Crescent, Department of Public Safety driver's license office, Texas Department of Human Services and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be closed Friday. The Victoria County Health Center will be closed Friday.

U.S. POSTAL SERVICE

The post offices will be open.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

All banks will be open Friday.

SCHOOLS

All public and private schools will be closed Friday.

HIGHER EDUCATION

The Victoria College and the University of Houston-Victoria campuses will be closed Friday.
