A Cuero woman was taken to Citizens Medical Center on Friday evening with injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market roads 236 and 447, said Cpl. Daniel Bettes with the Victoria County Sheriff's Office. Patricia Burtch, 68, was driving a Toyota Camry north on FM 236 when a 2001 Ford van turning south onto FM 236 failed to yield the right-of-way and the vehicles collided, Bettes said. The driver of the van, Luis Torres, 30, of Moulton, was not injured and was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way, Bettes said. Burtch was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
