One man is in custody and another in the hospital after a car reported stolen crashed into another vehicle then into a house on Crestwood Drive about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The car thought to be stolen Tuesday night was seen in the Housing Authority apartment complex on Crestwood Drive.
When police arrived, a passenger in the car, a Pontiac, fled on foot and the car began to drive out of the apartment complex, said Lt. Mike Hernandez, a Victoria Police Department spokesman.
The car then crashed into a Ford Fusion traveling east on Crestwood, said police Sgt. Herschel Buck.
The car then came to rest against a house on the corner.
The driver of the Pontiac fled but was apprehended by Victoria police.
Kane Riley, 18 of Victoria, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, felony evading and leaving the scene of an accident.
The driver of the Ford was taken by Victoria Fire Department EMS to an area hospital.
