An autopsy has been ordered on Richard Cantu, 60, who was discovered dead in a house in the 300 block of East Sabine Street about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The cause of death could not be determined because of the state of decomposition, but is not considered a homicide at this time, said Victoria Police Department spokesman Lt. Mike Hernandez.

Victoria County Justice of the Peace Stuart Posey ordered the autopsy, said Hernandez.
