Bowen J. Malek, of Edna, received the Democratic Party nomination for Jackson County Commissioner Precinct 3, Tuesday.

Malek, received 96 votes to opponent Lloyd Kulak's 63 votes.

Johnny Belicek, of Edna, received the Republican Party nomination for Jackson County Commissioner Precinct 3.

Belicek received 274 votes while opponent Tommy Srp received 250 votes.

Malek and Belicek will face one another in the Nov. 6 general election.
