Best local artist: Chase Brown

Chase Brown has come a long way since performing in his grandparents' living room.

He's honored to be recognized again by Advocate readers as the best local artist.

The 27-year-old Victoria native performs in Las Vegas and Chicago.

Although Brown said he switches up his routine, he made Crossroads women giggle like teenagers with his Elvis impersonation.

He's always thrilled to perform in front of his hometown audience.

"Every time I come home, it's like I never left," he said.
