Paige Connelly was among the winners at the Victoria Open Pro Rodeo held at the Horseman's Arena on Saturday.

Connelly took first place in the Ladies Breakaway Roping competition after posting a time of 3.12 seconds.

The rodeo featured was a part of the two-week South Texas Rodeo Challenge that began last week at the Cuero Open Pro Rodeo.

Victoria's Lyndsey Eller entered the weekend in fourth place after posting a time of 13.50 last weekend.

Victoria's Colton Kelly and and BJ Borjas entered the Victoria Pro Open in second place in the Bull Riding and Ranch Bronc Riding events.

Proceeds from the Victoria Open Pro Rodeo benefited Challanged Athletes and Mid-Coast Family Services.
