Three teenagers were transported to medical centers after crashing into a ditch and hitting a telephone pole in a one-vehicle accident near the intersection of Levi Sloan and Prairie View roads.

Sarah Hamilton, 17; Justin Avalos, 16; Cody Buck, 16; and Travis Binhuer, 17, were riding in a forest green two-door vehicle before striking the pole around 4 p.m. Monday, said Victoria Sheriff Department Deputy Hank Cunningham.

Two of the injured were transported to Citizens Medical Center.

The injured teens sustained seat belt lacerations and back injuries, said Cunningham.
