A 36-year-old Ganado man is in a Houston hospital after a wreck Friday involving the motorcycle he was driving and a Jackson County Sheriff's Office patrol car.

The names of those involved are not being released while the wreck remains under investigation, said Edna Police Chief Clinton Wooldridge.

The wreck occurred at 5:40 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Apollo Drive in Edna. The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting the Edna Police Department in the investigation of the wreck.
