The National Weather Service predicts a rainy Tuesday and Wednesday for the Crossroads area.
The latest forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of rain both days. Showers and thunderstorms are expected off and on throughout the 48-hour period.
A forecaster for the service said most areas will get 1 to 1 inches, with localized amounts possibly reaching 2 to 4 inches.
Widespread flooding is not expected.
The forecaster said the area will start to dry out by Thursday and will continue to stay dry for the weekend.
