BROWNSVILLE - The University of Houston-Victoria baseball team's losing streak was extended to nine games after being swept in a doubleheader Sunday by the University of Texas-Brownsville.
Matt Werner hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Scorpions an 8-6 win in the second game after they claimed a 5-3 decision in the first game.
UT-Brownsville swept the four-game series and improved to 5-3. The Jaguars dropped to 1-10.

New team,certainly new results.
Hopefully with kids here for 4 years beginning in the fall, these types of downs can be avoided in the future.
Tough start Jags but power through it.
