The 2nd Annual P.O.C. 5k and Dolphin Run Kids K will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012. The 5K is an optional run or walk and will take place at King Fisher Park (front beach). A new one mile course will be available for walkers and children registered for the Dolphin Run. Race begins and ends at the front beach.
Pre-registration is available online at active.com. Register early to receive a free t-shirt. Online registration closes at noon on Friday, October 12. Dolphin Run Kids K is for children 12 and under; all participants will receive ribbons. 5K participants in 1st – 3rd place will be awarded prizes according to age categories.
Complimentary refreshments, snacks, and water will be provided for all participants. Entertainment, artisans, and vendors will present for everyone to enjoy!
Proceeds will be donated to the Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce to fund beautification efforts and development at King Fisher Park. Contact runpoc5k@gmail.com for more details.
